To modern employers, the behavior of employees at remote work often seems too free, said Sergey Muravyov, HR Director of KROS, on Wednesday, March 11.

According to the expert, many managers believe that when employees are removed, they already take a lot of liberties and they must either be regulated or brought to the office. He clarified that by "regulation" he means drawing up clear instructions, which define the permissible time for responses in mail and messengers, as well as prescribe criteria for evaluating the results.

In turn, Tatiana Michurina, founder of the Devtek partner network, FCN CPA network and Bemorepay payment system, revealed that micro-exchange elements have been around for a long time in many IT teams, fintech, online services and marketing.

"Employees there get in touch in the morning, close tasks in the afternoon, and return to work in the evening. In the process, they are distracted by their own business, but at the same time they demonstrate high productivity," she recalled in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

She noted that the trend towards micro-shifts has nothing to do with laziness or an attempt to work less, now work is increasingly evaluated by results, rather than by time spent at the table.

At the same time, Michurina added that such a format will not take root where continuity of processes is important: in the segment of offline services, in production, in the support service.
