The Moscow Meshchansky court denied local resident Dmitry Mezentsev the right to receive 100 free pizzas annually in exchange for a tattoo with the logo of the manufacturing company. This was confirmed on March 11 by the text of the document, which was reviewed by TASS.

"To refuse to satisfy the claims of Dmitry Evgenievich Mezentsev to Pizza Restaurants LLC for the protection of consumer rights," follows from the court's decision.

In 2018, the man took part in an advertising campaign for the Domino's pizzeria chain, under the terms of which the participant was provided with 100 gift promo codes for pizza every year for 100 years. The first 350 people who got a tattoo of at least 2 cm on the visible part of the body could participate in the program.

After fulfilling all the conditions, Mezentsev received pizza from the company in the period from September 2018 to December 2022, but subsequently the issued promo code ceased to be valid when trying to place an order.

The Muscovite repeatedly tried to contact tech support, but the messages remained unanswered. In 2023, he turned to the pizzeria with a pre-trial claim, which also went unheeded. After that, Mezentsev filed a lawsuit against the company, demanding that the defendant comply with the terms of the action and insist on compensation.
