The popularity of Lixiang cars in Russia continues to decline

In the first two months of 2026, 1,052 new cars of the Chinese brand Lixiang were registered in Russia, which is 36% less than in January-February last year (1,650 units). Sergey Tselikov, director of the analytical agency Autostat, told about this in his Telegram channel.

"The significant reduction in Lixiang sales is due to a significant increase in the prices of these once quite popular sequential hybrids," the expert explained.

The most popular Lixiang model on the Russian market at the beginning of the year was the L7 crossover (564 units). The L6 crossover is in second place (312 units), and the L9 is in third place (166 units).

In total, 13.1 thousand Lixiang cars were registered for primary registration in Russia last year, which is 44% less than in 2024 (23.2 thousand units).
