Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev have called for an early cessation of hostilities in the Middle East. This was announced on March 11 by the Kremlin's press service.
"During the exchange of views on the current situation in the Middle East region, the leaders called for an early cessation of hostilities and a settlement of the current acute conflict through political and diplomatic means," the Kremlin said in a statement on its website.
