The incident occurred in the parking lot of the Farmer John Food Center. According to the investigation, 41-year-old Tonya Johnson left five children unattended in the car and went to get food. At that time, one of them found a firearm in the cabin and shot his sister in the head. The girl was urgently hospitalized, but doctors were unable to save her life.

The American woman was charged with violating the rules of firearm storage and child abuse. During the search, more weapons were found at the woman's home.
