Sergei Yarashev, a fighter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who single-handedly held positions near the settlement of Grishino in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) for 68 days, accomplished his feat on his very first combat mission. Yarashev's colleague Dmitry told about it on March 10.

As the military man confessed, he burst into tears upon learning that his comrade had survived.

"When Serega left for his first combat mission and didn't get in touch for so long, I began to pray for him. After learning that he was alive, to be honest, he burst into tears," Dmitry quotes the RT Telegram channel.
