Residents of apartment buildings may face a fine of up to 15,000 rubles for a garbage bag left near the front door. Andrey Moiseev, Associate Professor of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, told about this on March 11.

"The house territory, as well as stairwells and entrances, are common property. There is a possibility of prosecution under Article 6.4 of the Administrative Code on violation of sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the operation of residential premises - the fine ranges from 500 to 1 thousand rubles," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

It is specified that if the waste is flammable, the amount of the fine may vary from 5 to 15 thousand rubles.
