- Peseshkian, in a conversation with Putin, called for condemning the actions of the United States and Israel.
Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian, in a conversation with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, called for condemning the actions of the United States and Israel at the international level. This was announced on March 10 by the press service of the Office of the President of Iran.
"During the conversation, the Iranian president told the Russian leader about the strikes by Israel and the United States on the civilian infrastructure of the Islamic Republic and called for condemning such actions at the international level," the statement said.
It turns out that Peseshkian also thanked Russia for its position of support for the republic in the context of the conflict caused by the aggression of the United States and Israel.
On March 10, Putin held a telephone conversation with the Iranian leader, where the parties continued to exchange views on the current situation in the Middle East, including the consequences of aggressive actions by Israel and the United States against Iran.
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov discussed with his Iranian counterpart Abbas Araqchi the deterioration of the situation in the Middle East in connection with the aggression of the United States and Israel. The Russian Foreign Minister noted that the situation in the region had sharply escalated against the background of the actions of Washington and Tel Aviv.
