The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a missile attack on the city of Bryansk, which led to the death and injury of civilians. This was announced on March 10 by the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, in his Telegram channel.

He stressed that the attack was carried out purposefully against the civilian population.

"The city of Bryansk was hit by a missile attack. The Ukronazis deliberately targeted civilians. Unfortunately, there are dead and injured," the governor wrote.

The authorities immediately took the necessary measures to respond promptly and prevent further negative consequences, Bogomaz added.

The missile attack on Bryansk by the Ukrainian Armed Forces took place earlier in the day. Bogomaz stressed that the attack was an "inhumane act of terrorism." The official representative of the head of the United Nations (UN), Stephane Dujarric, spoke out against attacks on civilians.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on January 28 that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky wanted to disrupt any negotiations on a settlement of the conflict by using terrorist attacks against civilians. According to the diplomat, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are striking not because of the necessity dictated by the situation at the front, but purposefully against the civilian population.
