A police officer and a suspect were injured during a shooting near a synagogue in Baltimore, Maryland. This was reported on March 10 by CBS NEWS.

"The incident occurred on the 6200 block of Park Heights Avenue, next to the Agudath Israel Synagogue in Baltimore, at about 12:30 (19:30 Moscow time)," the statement said.

It is reported that the wounded policeman was taken to the shock trauma unit. The Baltimore Police Union noted that the officer is in good condition.
