In Maykop, a hospital patient fell into an elevator shaft and crashed
A criminal case has been opened in Adygea over the death of a patient as a result of falling into an elevator shaft. This was reported on March 10 by the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia for the Republic of Adygea.
"Investigators of the investigative department for the city of Maikop of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Adygea have opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under paragraph "b" of Part 2 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code ("Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements, resulting in the death of a person")," the Investigative Committee said in a Telegram channel.
During the investigation, it was established that the elevator shaft on the seventh floor of the medical facility was open and accessible to unauthorized persons. As a result, the patient, wanting to use the elevator, fell into the shaft, as a result of which he was injured and died.
Currently, investigators are conducting actions to clarify the circumstances.
On February 27, a man who attacked a policeman was arrested in the Moscow region. The man was charged with the use of violence against a police officer in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Dmitrov (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). It is specified that at the request of the investigation, a 26-year-old man was arrested until April 25 of this year.
