The Central Bank announced a record deposit of funds to brokerage accounts by investors

In 2025, private investors deposited a record amount of money into their accounts over the past four years, with an influx of 2.5 trillion rubles. This was announced by the Bank of Russia on March 10.

"During the year, individuals deposited 2.5 trillion rubles into brokerage accounts, which is the highest figure since the beginning of observations in 2021. Approximately 70% of this inflow was provided by qualified investors, whose number approached 1 million," the Central Bank said in a statement.
