India's largest bank, State Bank of India (SBI), has not yet resumed accepting payments for oil supplied from Russia, despite signals from the United States about permission for such purchases. This was reported by Bloomberg on March 10.

"The State Bank of India does not accept payments for Russian oil even after the US government issued a temporary import permit to India, as the country's largest lender is not sure how long this privilege will last," the agency writes.
