The Moscow City Court has issued a verdict in absentia against Ukrainian journalist Irina Zemlyana (listed as a terrorist and extremist), who was found guilty of attacking the Russian Ambassador to Poland, Sergei Andreev, in 2022. This was reported on March 10 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

"The court found that on May 9, 2022, in Warsaw, Zemlyana and other unidentified persons attacked the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, Sergei Andreev. The incident occurred at the Cemetery-Mausoleum of Soviet Soldiers memorial during a wreath—laying ceremony," the statement said.
