- Before his death, Dzhabrailov earned money on the names Sobchak and Kirkorov without their knowledge
Shortly before his death, ex-senator and businessman Umar Dzhabrailov launched a closed "Millionaires Chat" with a paid subscription and personal consultations, earning up to 700 thousand rubles a month, Izvestia found out. To promote the project, Ksenia Sobchak and Philip Kirkorov were listed as participants, although the TV presenter later denied her participation, and the singer's photo first appeared in one of the stories of the ex-senator, but soon disappeared.
According to Izvestia sources, at the peak of the project in August 2025, there were more than 240 participants in the chat. The subscription for participation started from 2,990 rubles per month. Subscribers were promised an autographed book by Absurd for 4,990 rubles, an online consultation by Dzhabrailov for 100,000 rubles, and an opportunity to record a joint podcast with him for 300,000 rubles.
According to one of Dzhabrailov's partners, who worked with him in the last year of his life, by that time most of the ex-senator's Internet activity was actually controlled by a team of "young information gypsies."
"Young people who are engaged in marketing and promotion — they earn money from it.… They came with a suggestion: "Let's do this, it will be an additional income for you." He has (Dzhabrailov. — Ed.) there were official agreements and contracts with them. They handled his entire media history. All these posts and blogs were conducted by text message people, he had no idea what they were writing and creating," the source told Izvestia.
Ksenia Sobchak was introduced on the project's website as one of the team members. However, she quickly denied her involvement.
"Friends, I feel great about Umar, I am grateful for his first interview, which simply opened the Pandora's box of his subsequent interviews, but this is the first time I have heard about the millionaires' chat, in which I am 'participating,'" Sobchak wrote on her Telegram channel.
