The number of Russian tourists stranded in Thailand after the cancellation of flights to the Middle East may reach 10 thousand people. This was announced on March 10 by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
"There may currently be about 10,000 organized and independent tourists in Thailand with return tickets for flights with connections in Middle Eastern countries. Due to the cancellation of most of these flights, tourists are forced to stay late or fly through third countries," ATOR's Telegram channel says.
