A fire season has been declared in Vladivostok since March 10. The corresponding decree was signed by Vera Shcherbina, First Vice-Governor and Chairman of the Government of Primorsky Krai.

The start of the season has been announced due to the establishment of dry and windy weather, which creates conditions for the occurrence and rapid spread of natural fires. This is reported by IA PrimaMedia. Residents of Vladivostok are asked to be careful and comply with fire safety requirements.

During the fire season, fines for violations were increased to 60 thousand rubles for individuals and up to 2 million rubles for legal entities.

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, preparations for the fire season have reached the final stage. Equipment is being checked, reserves are being formed and routes for the transfer of forces are being clarified.
