Almost a third of small businesses are considering closing or selling

31% of entrepreneurs in Russia are thinking about closing or selling their business. This was confirmed on March 10 by the data from the study of Thomas and the National Research University of Higher School of Economics "Small Business Study".

According to the Vedomosti newspaper, as of the first quarter of 2026, 52% of respondents are confident that the situation of their business will worsen. Only 12% are waiting for improvements.
