Geely unveils new version of the Preface sedan in Russia

Geely has announced a new version of the Preface sedan entering the Russian market. It has a deformed engine, which is designed to keep the price down. This is stated in the message of the brand's press service, which was received by Izvestia on March 10.

The Geely Preface retained the two—liter turbo engine, but its power was reduced from 200 to 150 hp. The maximum torque remained the same - 325 Nm. Acceleration time from zero to 100 km/h increased from 7.1 to 9.5 seconds. A seven-speed robotic transmission is still combined with the engine.

The model is presented in two trim levels — for 3.33 million and 3.43 million rubles, respectively. The basic version includes a winter package, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, black eco-leather interior and seats, black ceiling, 10.2-inch digital dashboard, 13.2-inch central touchscreen display, eight-speaker audio system, parking sensors, all-round viewing system and other options.

In the maximum version, the sedan is equipped with additional active safety systems, as well as 18-inch black wheels, ventilation of the front seats, an audio system with 12 speakers, and more.

On March 3, Geely introduced the Atlas crossover in Russia with a new 1.5-liter engine with a capacity of 147 hp. Front-wheel drive modifications are equipped with such a power unit with a seven-speed robotic transmission.
