In the Trans-Baikal Territory, a decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) has been recorded over the past week. More than 3.2 thousand people turned to doctors.

According to the ChitaMedia news agency, the number of cases decreased by 11% in a week. There are two distance learning schools, as well as ten classes in six schools.

According to laboratory studies, influenza accounts for 2% of positive findings. The A/H3N2 strain is mainly circulating. Another 5.7% of cases are associated with coronavirus infection.

Experts recommend that residents of Transbaikalia follow preventive measures and wear masks in public places.

In Russia, 678 thousand cases of acute respiratory viral infections were registered in the first week of March. The incidence rate is comparable to that of September 2025.
