Weather forecasters warned residents of the Amur region about bad weather. Heavy snowfall is expected in the region against the background of warming.

According to PriamurMedia news agency, from March 12 to March 15, a southwestern cyclone will have an impact on the weather. First, snow will fall in the north-western regions, and on March 14 and 15, snowfalls will cover most of the Amur region.

Up to 70% of the monthly precipitation rate may fall during the cyclone period, and up to two monthly precipitation rates may fall in the north of the region. The wind speed will be 10-13 m/s.

The air temperature in the north will exceed the climatic norm by 3-8 degrees, in the south — up to 7 degrees.

Earlier, forecasters predicted significant warming in Moscow and the Moscow region this week. The weather will meet the norms of early April.
