Zatsepin spoke about the need for internal work to understand culture

Understanding culture is impossible without careful perception and inner work of the listener. This was announced on March 10 by People's Artist of Russia and composer Alexander Zatsepin.

"If a person wants to listen to music, especially serious music, he should do it, gradually get used to it," he said.

According to the composer, serious music may not be liked at first, but over time, by attending concerts, the listener begins to understand the performing skills and features of the game.

"So, you will learn to hear music, you will come to culture, it will become closer to you. You just need a desire," Zatsepin clarified.

In addition, he stressed the importance of attention and willingness to delve into the work, adding that you can not just come and immediately give an assessment, you need to listen, delve into and get used to the music.

"I'll write as much music as I can."

The People's Artist turned 100 years old on March 10. He is the author of hundreds of popular songs and music for cult films of Soviet cinema. His compositions are also featured in the film Operation S and Other Adventures of Shurik. Among the most famous works are "The Song about the Hares", "The Island of Bad Luck", "Where Childhood Goes" and "There is only a moment". These songs have been performed by several generations of listeners.

Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to the artist on the occasion of the anniversary. In the telegram, the head of state noted that Zatsepin continues to donate his works to fans of his talent, without stopping there.
