DIT experts gave recommendations on how to create queries for neural networks
Experts from the Department of Information Technology (DIT) of the capital told on March 10 how important it is to correctly formulate your request for AI so that the desired answer is as accurate and useful as possible. More than half of Moscow residents are already using artificial intelligence (AI) technologies for various tasks, including assistance in school, work and daily life, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said on the portal. mos.ru .
"Generative AI is becoming the fastest-growing area of artificial intelligence application in Moscow: 28 urban generative AI services have already appeared in the capital, and the number of citizens who use this technology on a daily basis is growing," the experts noted.
According to DIT analysts, 55% of the capital's residents used generative AI last year. Of these, 39% used technology for personal purposes, 24% for work and 10% for study. The ministry stressed that AI is becoming an increasingly useful tool, from finding information to solving everyday problems.
The experts explained that it is important for users to formulate their requests clearly and concretely in order to receive accurate and useful answers. According to them, an overly general query, such as "I want an apple pie," may lead to a less accurate result, while the wording "Write a recipe for an apple pie" will allow you to get a more understandable answer.
It is also recommended to specify the purpose of the request and the desired result. For example: "Write a recipe for apple pie. Suggest a list of ingredients and step-by-step cooking instructions."
Experts added that detailing helps to avoid ambiguity and speeds up obtaining the necessary information. As an example, they gave a more specific request: "Write a recipe for an apple pie made from yeast-free dough that can be cooked in the oven. Give step-by-step instructions of no more than five steps."
On the same day, it was reported that Russians would have the right to opt out of AI-based services. As follows from the draft law on AI prepared by the Ministry of Finance, organizations will be required to provide services to customers without the use of neural networks if they refused to provide services using artificial intelligence. The approximate date of entry into force of the law is September 1, 2027.
