Saudi Arabia's air defense system has destroyed nine unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) flying to an oil field. This was announced on March 9 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the state.
"Nine drones were intercepted and destroyed in the area (of the desert. — Ed.) Rub-el-Khali, heading to the Sheiba field," RIA Novosti reports.
The Reuters news agency reported on March 7 that Saudi Arabia's air defense forces intercepted four Iranian drones that were sent to an oil field. The information was also confirmed by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Kingdom.
