The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked more than 700 targets where the Hezbollah movement was stationed in Lebanon, including 35 multi-storey buildings in Beirut. This was announced on March 9 by the representative of the Israeli army, Brigadier General Efi Defrin.

"So far, we have attacked more than 700 Hezbollah targets, as well as more than 100 targets of the al-Hajj Radwan Forces. We hit more than 50 targets in Beirut, including 35 high—rise buildings," he said.

According to Defrin, the troops of the Northern Command are conducting offensive operations against the movement around the clock.

The IDF press service reported on March 9 that on the night of Monday, March 9, it launched a targeted and limited ground operation against the Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon. Before the ground units were deployed, massive strikes were carried out against the intended targets.
