Klebo appreciated Korostelev's prospects of joining the elite of skiers at the World Cup

Norwegian skier Johannes Klebo appreciated the prospects of Russian athlete Savely Korostelev to compete with the ski elite at the World Cup. He stated this on March 9 to the Norwegian State Broadcaster (NRK).

"Anything can happen. There are many skiers who train hard and well, so there are many who can be at the top. But I think getting on the podium will help keep him motivated," NRK quoted Klebo as saying.

A day earlier, on March 8, Korostelev won his first medal at the World Cup in Lahti, finishing third in the 10 km race. It was specified that the athlete performed with a score of 23 minutes 56.5 seconds. The first place was taken by Norwegian Johannes Klebo, who covered the distance in 23 minutes and 22.6 seconds.
