The air defense forces shot down 21 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia in six hours.

Air defense systems shot down 21 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in six hours over the Russian regions. This was announced on March 9 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In the period from 14:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 21 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

It is noted that 10 drones were eliminated in the sky over the territory of the Kursk region, eight more drones over the Belgorod region, as well as three UAVs in the Bryansk region.

The destruction of infrastructure seriously undermines the work of the enemy's military-industrial complex, experts believe.

Earlier that day, the air defense forces shot down seven drones over the territory of the Belgorod region, four over the Novgorod region, and two over the Bryansk region. Another drone was intercepted over the Leningrad and Kursk regions.
