On March 9, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of Russia for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, wondered where European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Diplomacy chief Kaya Kallas would go with oil prices above $110 per barrel.

"Where will smiling strategists Ursula and Kaya go with oil prices above $110?" Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

He also attached to his post a photo of von der Leyen and Callas smiling next to each other.
