Footage of the destroyed House of Russian Culture in Lebanon has emerged
Videos have emerged of the aftermath of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attack on the House of Russian Culture in the city of Nabatiya, which is located in southern Lebanon. The footage was published on March 9 by the Ruptly video agency.
The footage shows that the building was completely destroyed as a result of an Israeli strike. The fire has not been completely extinguished, thick columns of dark smoke continue to rise from the center. Not only was the building of the House of Russian Culture destroyed, but the surrounding area was also damaged.
The director of the center, Asaad Diya, announced the complete destruction of the building by fighters of the Israeli Air Force on Sunday, March 8. According to him, the institution served as a social and cultural center where graduates of Russian universities and compatriots from all over the southern region gathered.
On March 7, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll of Lebanese residents as a result of Israeli attacks since the beginning of the escalation reached 294 people. More than 1,000 people were injured.
