An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 occurred in Turkey. This was confirmed on March 9 by information on the website of the Office for the Elimination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (AFAD)

The seismic event was recorded at 09:21 (coincides with Moscow time) in Denizli province. The epicenter of the earthquake was located near the village of Buldan. The hearth was located at a depth of 7 km.

According to RIA Novosti, the epicenter was located 5 km from the thermal springs of Pamukkale resort.

On Saturday, March 7, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 occurred in Iran. According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter was located 74 km west of Bandar Abbas, where about 350-380 thousand people live. The earthquake was centered at a depth of 10 km. No injuries were reported.
