The Russian military has eliminated the MLRS multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. This was announced on March 9 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to the agency, the American-made installation was hit by two guided missiles. She was located near the village of Molodovaya in the Kharkiv region.

"As a result of the strike, the MLRS MLRS launcher, its supporting vehicles and up to 10 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed," the Defense Ministry said.

On March 8, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian military had destroyed an enemy's HIMARS MLRS firing position in the Kharkiv region.
