The State Duma recalled the right to receive a recalculation of hot water charges

Russians can get a recalculation of the payment for hot water supply in the house if the temperature deviates from the norm, while water below 40 degrees is charged at the cold rate. This was announced on March 9 by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing Vladimir Koshelev, the LDPR party.

"If the temperature is below the norm, but above 40 degrees, the fee is reduced by 1% for every three degrees from the norm; if the temperature is below 40 degrees, the cost of hot water services is calculated as for cold water," he explained.
