Military musicians of the 385th brigade held a concert for an orphanage in the LPR
Military personnel of the military band of the 385th Guards Artillery Brigade of the 2nd Guards Combined Arms Army of the Center group of forces held a festive concert for children from an orphanage in the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR). This was announced on March 9 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
Military musicians performed popular Russian and patriotic compositions for the children, and the children happily sang along to every familiar song.
A special decoration of the concert was the performance of beautiful musical melodies on a traditional Bashkir wind instrument, the kurai, which was demonstrated by one of the servicemen.
It is noted that soldiers of the 385th Guards Artillery Brigade regularly hold festive concerts for children from orphanages in the Luhansk and Donetsk People's Republics (DPR), each time giving warmth, attention and care to children through their creativity.
At the end of the performance, the pupils and staff of the orphanage thanked the orchestra with friendly applause and expressed confidence in the speedy Victory.
On February 1, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Novorossiysk paratroopers of the Dnepr group of forces visited the Heroes of Our Time secondary school named after Heroes of Paratroopers of the Donetsk city district in the DPR as part of the Heroes of Our Time Airborne Troops campaign.
At the opening of the action, a representative of the command of the Airborne Forces and the Dnepr group of forces with the call sign Bard conveyed greetings from the commander, Hero of Russia, Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky. He stressed that the action has become traditional for the region and has taken an important place among the All-Russian military-patriotic initiatives.
