Social pensions in the Russian Federation will be increased from April 1. This was announced on March 9 by Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs.

"Social pensions will be increased starting from April 1. The coefficient is 6.8%," Nilov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
