Fragments of a meteorite damaged the roofs of houses in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. This was reported on March 9 by the DPA news agency.

It is noted that parts of the space object fell on March 8 at about 19:00 (21:00 Moscow time) in the Guls area. Operational services are involved at the site — firefighters and police.

"There are no casualties," the publication says.
