The dome of a Victorian-era building collapsed during a massive fire in the center of Glasgow, located in Scotland. This was announced on March 9 by the BBC television channel.

"A strong fire has engulfed the building of Glasgow Central Railway Station, as a result of which it partially collapsed," the TV channel reports.

According to the BBC, the fire broke out in a vaping shop, which was located next to the train station. The fire also destroyed a cafe and a barbershop. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. A nearby hotel was evacuated while firefighters continued to extinguish the fire.

The station is closed until further notice.

On January 26, the British government's website reported that London had fined the Bank of Scotland for violating sanctions against Russia. We are talking about the British subsidiary of Lloyds Banking Group. The fine amounted to 160,000 pounds, which is equivalent to about $218.6 thousand.
