Dmitriev called Europe's rejection of Russian energy resources a strategic mistake.

Europe has made a strategic mistake by abandoning Russian energy. This was announced on March 8 by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

"It's not just impotence, it's a strategic mistake to abandon Russian energy, which not only increases energy costs, but also makes Europe extremely vulnerable to energy shocks," the politician said on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
