Macron called on the Iranian president to stop attacks on the countries of the Middle East

On March 8, French President Emmanuel Macron held a conversation with Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian and called on him to immediately stop attacks on Middle Eastern countries, as well as to ensure navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.

"I stressed the need for Iran to immediately stop attacks on countries in the region. Iran must also guarantee freedom of navigation by putting an end to the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz," Macron wrote on the social network X.
