The House of Russian culture in Lebanon was destroyed due to the Israeli attack
Israeli Air Force fighters struck the city of Nabatiya, which is located in southern Lebanon, as a result of the attack, the House of Russian Culture was completely destroyed. This was announced on March 8 by the director of the institution, Asaad Diya.
According to his words, the House of Russian Culture served as a socio-cultural center, which brought together graduates of Russian universities and compatriots from all over the southern region.
"There were Russian language courses, and the children were engaged in music, dancing, and drawing. We had a hall where Russian-Lebanese friendship celebrations and concerts were held," said Diya.
It is known that the center was opened in 2004. According to the director of the institution, after the escalation of the conflict, all employees were evacuated. There are no casualties in this regard.
On March 7, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that the death toll of Lebanese residents as a result of Israeli attacks since the beginning of the escalation reached 294 people. More than 1,000 people were injured.
