Magnitogorsk Metallurg Hockey Club (HC) beat Traktor Chelyabinsk HC in a regular season match of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The match on March 8 on Magnitogorsk's home ice ended with a score of 3:2.

Alexander Petunin (29th minute) and Ruslan Iskhakov (35th minute) scored goals for Metallurg in regular time. Vasily Glotov (1) and Egor Korshkov (14) made accurate shots at the opponent's goal. The winning shootout was scored by Metallurg striker Sergey Tolchinsky, Sport-Express clarifies.

Metallurg has already won its fifth victory over Traktor this season, having not suffered a single defeat in face-to-face meetings with Chelyabinsk.
