On March 8, Izvestia received footage of a rocket hitting a school in Minab in Iran.

It is noted that their authenticity was confirmed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The footage shows how the rocket hits the building, after which black smoke rises above the school. At the same time, people nearby run away in a hurry.

On the same day, the US Permanent Representative to the UN, Michael Waltz, did not confirm the involvement of the United States in the attack on the school in Iran, but noted that tragic mistakes sometimes happen. He added that the Pentagon was investigating the incident, but did not confirm Washington's involvement in the tragedy.

NBC News reported on March 6 that representatives of the White House acknowledged the US strikes in the area of the girls' school in Minaba. The attack on an elementary school for girls took place on February 28, the day when the United States and Israel launched a military operation against Iran called "Lion's Roar."

The attacks on the educational institution, which killed at least 170 people, including minors, were carried out using Tomahawk missiles. The farewell ceremony for the dead schoolgirls, attended by thousands of people, took place on March 3.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
