Putin signed a law on notification of citizens when searching for them.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law according to which citizens will receive notifications from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation that their relatives or other persons are looking for them. The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on March 8.

Amendments have been made to the law "On the Right of Citizens of the Russian Federation to Freedom of Movement, Choice of Place of Stay and Residence within the Russian Federation."
