In six hours, the Air defense forces destroyed 152 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia

In six hours, air defense systems intercepted 152 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over the regions of Russia. This was announced on March 8 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"In the period from 8:00 to 14:00 Moscow time, 152 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of an airplane type were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.

According to the Ministry of Defense, 103 drones were intercepted over the Bryansk region, 13 UAVs were shot down over the Tula region, and 12 more over the Kaluga Region. Another 10 drones were neutralized over the Belgorod region, four drones over the Sea of Azov, and three over the Kursk region. Two UAVs were shot down over the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and the Moscow region, and one drone was hit over the Orel region.

Last night, 72 Ukrainian drones were shot down by air defense systems. It was clarified that 20 drones were eliminated over the territory of the Astrakhan region, the same number over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, 14 over the territory of the Rostov region, eight UAVs were intercepted over the territory of the Belgorod Region, four over the territory of the Krasnodar Territory, three were shot down over the territory of the Kursk region, as well as two over the territory of the Volgograd region and one UAV — over the waters of the Sea of Azov.
