The United States fears that Iran may reach the uranium reserves at the facility in Isfahan. The American newspaper The New York Times (NYT) wrote about this on March 8, citing officials.

"American intelligence agencies have concluded that Iran or potentially another group can get to the main repository of highly enriched uranium," the publication says.
