A desalination plant was damaged during an attack by Iranian drones on Bahrain. This was announced on March 8 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kingdom.

"The Iranian aggression <...> led to material damage to the desalination plant as a result of a drone attack," the agency wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The location of the object and the extent of its damage are not specified. The Bahrain Electricity and Water Authority later reported that there had been no disruptions to water supplies due to the impact.
