Pezeshkian threatened to respond to attacks from the territory of any state.
Iran will be forced to respond to attacks from the territory of any state. This was announced on March 8 by Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian.
He noted that the United States and Israel seek to provoke discord between Iran and the Persian Gulf countries. At the same time, the president stressed that Iran's retaliatory actions to aggression continue, but they have nothing to do with neighboring states.
"We are brothers with neighboring countries, but if any country tries to use this and violate our territory, we will respond to them," the ISNA news agency quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
The day before, Peseshkian said that Iran's interim governing council had decided not to launch missile strikes or attack the territories of neighboring states with drones, except in cases where aggression comes from them.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Majid Takht-Ravanchi said on March 6 that the Iranian authorities were actively urging European countries not to interfere in the conflict in the Middle East. He stressed that any state that supports the aggression of the United States and Israel against Iran will automatically become a legitimate target for Tehran's retaliatory actions.
