About half of the Russians stranded in Sri Lanka have experienced problems with departure. This was reported in the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.

"After the termination of flights by Arab airlines to Sri Lanka due to the crisis in the Persian Gulf, Russian tourists who arrived on connecting flights through the hubs of the Gulf countries were stuck on the island. There are also travelers among them who tried to get out via Sri Lanka from the Seychelles and Maldives," ATOR's Telegram channel says.
