The role of women in the history of Russia is great, they assume the role of both keepers of the hearth and fearless warriors. This was announced on March 8 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, on the occasion of March 8.

"As I look back at the incredible challenges our country and the world are facing this year, I am particularly acutely aware of the great role women have played in our country's history. On this day, I would like to express my special gratitude to the wives, mothers, sisters and daughters of our servicemen who are participating in a special military operation," she told TASS.
