Second Lieutenant Denis Onokhov commanded the calculation of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon system during the defense of the settlement from attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation on March 8.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted a combined attack, using simultaneously unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and multiple rocket launchers (MLRS). Onokhov instructed his subordinates to launch ZRPK radar systems and revealed the approach of an unidentified target. After contacting the command and finding out that there were no Russian planes or drones in the airspace nearby, he gave the order to liquidate the facility. As a result of the well-coordinated work of the calculation, the threat was eliminated.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and determination of Private Vladimir Sevostyanov, who was delivering ammunition to Russian soldiers as part of a convoy when the Ukrainian Armed Forces opened artillery and mortar fire.

Sevostyanov began to maneuver, using the terrain to shield the car from impacts. As a result, he managed to remove the ammunition from the firing zone and successfully deliver it to its destination.
