UK opened a case after poisoning of schoolchildren in Nizhny Novgorod region
A criminal case has been opened into the poisoning of schoolchildren in Bogorodsk, Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported on March 7 in the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the region.
"During the monitoring of the media, a story was revealed by a regional television company in which it was reported that schoolchildren were poisoned in one of the educational institutions in the city of Bogorodsk," the UK wrote on the MAX messenger channel.
Investigators have opened a criminal case on the provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers (Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). UK staff are currently questioning witnesses, including the school's management and staff.
On February 11, an outbreak of acute intestinal infection occurred at a school in the Nevsky district of St. Petersburg, as a result of which 96 people were injured. The injured students are undergoing inpatient treatment in medical institutions.
